High School Practice Mosque
It was designed as a practice mosque in an Imam Hatip High School in Bodrum Province. It was drawn as a detached structure for high school students to learn how to lead prayers.
Since the senior students of the school also lead Friday prayers, there is also a pulpit.
In front of the mosque, which was built in a hot climate, canopies were made in order to increase the shaded areas.
The main mass of the mosque was built in typology and colour in accordance with the traditional basement architecture.
The eaves attached to the front and sides are designed with lighter materials.
The mosque, which will be used not only for prayers but also as a gathering place, will be a socialising tool for students.
